Due to the shortage of healthcare professionals in Germany, nurses, operating theatre technicians, physiotherapists, trainees (as nurses) and doctors are recruited in the healthcare sector. In addition, specialists in the field of education, such as early childhood education specialists and primary school teachers, can also work in Germany.
What is professional equivalence? What does partial and full equivalence mean?
Equivalence means the recognition of your vocational education.
Partial equivalence means that part of your professional qualification is equivalent. This means that there are significant differences in the other part.
Full equivalence means that your professional qualification corresponds to the profession in Germany.

Since when has Sprachportal existed?
The Sprachportal is an official institution founded in Germany in 2010 and cooperates with the BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees). It was founded in Turkey in 2019 to offer language lessons and counselling services for recognition.
How many locations does the Sprachportal have?
Our language school has a total of four locations: two in Turkey, in Istanbul and Ankara, and two in Germany, in Wetzlar and Offenbach.
Do you offer German language courses at your institution?
Our German courses are offered for all levels at our locations in Istanbul and Ankara. Our courses comply with the curriculum associated with the Ministry of National Education (MEB).
Do the nurses actually receive their salary during the B2 German language course?
Nurses and trainees who come to Germany and complete a B2 German course receive their salary directly into their account during the four-month course without repayment.
What language level do I need to have to be able to work in Germany?
To come to Germany via the Sprachportal, you need a German certificate at B1 level. After your arrival in Germany, you will continue your German course at B2 level.
How long does the average visa process take?
We submit an 81 A fast-track visa application, which is completed in about 3-4 weeks.
