The Nursing Project

In summary, the project consists of four different phases:

Phase 1

Preparation in the Home Country

Prepartion in the Home Country

– Advice and selection procedure
-Language course A1-B1
-Application for recognition in Germany

Phase 2

Certificate examination & getting to know each other

– Preparation & participation in B1 exam
– Internship with employer
– Return to home country with an employment contract

Phase 3

Recognition of professional language

– Entry with a work visa
– Start working as a care assistant
– Participation in the “BSK Pflege” B1.B2 (BAMF)
– Exam telc B1.B2 Pflege

Our Cooperation Partners

We are currently already working with a total of 10 healthcare facilities in Hessen. From 2023, we expect to have more cooperation partners, including in other federal states.

Our Care Professionals

In 2019, a total of 400 care professionals found employment in Germany through our project.

All participants have obtained either a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing in their home country and were required to demonstrate B1 language proficiency before entering Germany. They are currently undergoing the recognition process, which varies for each individual. In addition to working as nursing assistants, they participate in the “Occupational Language Course for Healthcare Professions” offered by BAMF.

After successfully completing this course, some participants can finalize their recognition process, while others still need to pass the competency exam.
